John is founder, President, and CEO of the Firstbrook Group of Companies. Thirty years ago he noticed a major gap in the advice channel for entrepreneurs and how businesses transitioned from one generation to the next. John has dedicated his business career to the advancement of quality relationships, with particular attention paid to the specialists and experts required for a smooth business transfer. In short, John pioneered the team approach, acting as a catalyst to get all experts helping with client issues. We have been instrumental in getting ones accountants, lawyers, psychologists and insurance providers to communicate in order to best solve the problems unique to business transfers.

Amy Zhao, Manager of Client Services, joined the Firstbrook Insurance Group in 2016. She began her role as Personal Insurance Administrator, providing administrative support in all matters related to individual insurance.
Amy was a licenced Insurance Advisor at Sun Life after graduating from the University of Toronto. With her experience and knowledge in life insurance, Amy facilitates the day-to-day operations required to attain sales and business goals. Dawn Duvall, Account Associate, joined the Firstbrook Pointon team in early 2016, having left one of Canada’s leading insurance carriers where she held multiple roles over the years, most recently within a Regional Group Office. Anna Tsepelis joined the Firstbrook Pointon team as Manager of Business Development and Marketing in 2018. Spending over a decade in the financial services space, her experience working with business owners and affluent families is pivotal to her focus on life insurance strategies, intergenerational wealth preservation, corporate succession, and estate planning.
